Who is Ash B LC 

Kaya, Hello I'm Ashleigh or Ash (she/her) and I am here to help navigate this wild journey of parenthood.

I first developed my love of breastfeeding in the NICU as a graduate nurse in 2012, and over the last 10+ years I have continued that NICU journey as a neonatal nurse helping and supporting families with their breastfeeding journeys along side their complex medical journeys. Nothing brings me more joy then watching tiny little humans grow stronger and stronger day by day nourished by their parents love. Over the years I have attended many study days and further education to improve my knowledge and skills, I am constantly amazed by what our bodies can make and achieve in breastmilk. 

Then in 2017 I had my son, an unfortunately we did not get the perfect start to our breastfeeding journey. With an emergency c-section, followed by a NICU admission, it was a bit rocky, but we made up for it by feeding until 3+ years. 

And that journey taught me even more and fueled a passion in me to give back to the community and help parents thrive along their own journey. 

So alongside working in the NICU and raising my son I embarked on the road to becoming a lactation consultant, and here I stand an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Here to serve you and your families needs through this chapter of your life.
